Partnering with the ASRC offers your business a chance to make a difference to the more than 4,600 people each year and be part of positive change for issues faced by people seeking asylum.

By working with ASRC you will align your company with the largest independent human rights organisation for refugees and people seeking asylum in Australia.

About the opportunities

Community Food Day

Help the ASRC provide free groceries and a delicious meal to people seeking asylum who would otherwise go hungry. The Foodbank volunteers handle everything from donations, to sorting food, to helping members make the best choices while shopping. Volunteers also prepare a glorious selection of curries, salads and desserts for over 200 people to enjoy together.

A delicious, nutritious lunch is provided as part of your day volunteering with us! However please bring snacks or your own lunch if you have any dietary requirements.

The cost is $84pp + GST.

Additional requirements:

  • – Participants should wear casual clothes and closed, flat shoes, as they will be standing and working with food.
  • – Hair tied back.

Harvest of Hope Garden Day

Activities include:
– Planting, watering, weeding and tending to plants
