About the opportunity


People Who Care is a volunteer-based organisation operating across 20 centres metro-wide. They offer a diverse range of services and support for those who are frail, elderly, disabled or experiencing financial hardship.

Their vision is to build resilient communities through the engagement of willing volunteers, helping others in need.

Team Gardening Days provide home and garden maintenance to those who need it.

Show you care and create a powerful opportunity to enhance culture while making a tangible difference. The smallest act of kindness can make the biggest difference.


Typical activities:

Volunteers would be involved in garden maintenance, weeding and pruning.


Additional requirements:

Volunteers are asked to:

  • – Wear comfortable clothing, closed toe shoes, a hat and sunscreen.
  • – Bring a water bottle.
  • – Bring (if possible) gardening gloves.
  • – Bring own lunch and snacks.
