Webinar: How Can You Increase the ROI of Your Community Program for Your Business?

Catalyser

Catalyser proudly welcomed CSR leader Peter Baines to speak about how to improve and scale your company’s CSR program. Catalyser was generously hosted by EY who are themselves committed to championing innovation, including in the CSR space. The event welcomed representatives from over 50 different companies and organisations.

Peter Baines shared inspirational and unconventional tips and best practice, drawing on CSR cases studies from his experience working with over 1200 companies as a CSR strategist. This webinar will provide you with ideas and strategies to apply to your own CSR program.

What you will learn in this Webinar:

Philanthropy is not CSR;

CSR doesn’t need to be about money;

CSR should be a profit centre to your business;

We give to get a return, we’re just not supposed to say that;

Shared Value is not about an alignment of values, but engaging the entire supply chain;

There is a continuum for CSR and it doesn’t matter where you start, just start;

Acknowledge we under measure and under report our true commitment;

And more...

About Peter Baines, OAM and CSR leader:

Peter is a world-renowned leader and speaker on social responsibility and leadership. He’s worked as a CSR strategist with over 1000 businesses around the world.

Peter is also the founder of the charity Hands Across the Water. He did this in response to the devastation and need he witnessed through his work as the lead forensic investigator in Thailand, helping to identify victims of the 2004 Boxing Day Tsunami. Without spending a cent of his donor's money, Peter raised over $1.5 million in just three years to support orphaned children from this catastrophe.

A CSR program needs to be profitable in order to reinvest. And “if we do well we all do well. It is not about an alignment of value, it is about engaging the entire supply chain”.

Peter is also the author of the book 'Doing well by doing good' which is an essential for Catalyser. It shows companies how to improve the bottom line by implementing an engaging, authentic, and business-enhancing program that helps staff and business thrive. It is an accessible and practical book that complement his talk.

“I couldn’t change what had happened, but I felt within my capacity to change what happen next for them”
Peter Baines, Founder of Hands Across the Water
