About the opportunity

Puffing Billy is Australia’s premier preserved steam railway and operates every day except Christmas Day!

Join Puffing Billy Railway on their Corporate Volunteer Program and give your employees time out of the day-to-day and participate in a variety of team building activities.

Environmental Team Program

You can can work with our Environmental Team Members assisting with the Environmental Management of our rail corridor, weeding, replanting and generally improving the biodiversity along our railway track.

Additional requirements:

Volunteers are asked to wear comfortable garden work clothes, sturdy shoes, a hat and sunscreen. Please bring a water bottle and lunch/snacks.

All volunteers must have a valid Working With Children Check and a current CrimCheck.

Event Team Program

You may like to work with the Event Team Members at any of their Special Events run throughout the year. The Day Out with Thomas events and the Great Train Race are two of our regular events that always require assistance.
