Brisbane Youth Service (BYS) assists homeless young people and young families to find and maintain safe and stable accommodation. By volunteering with BYS you will be supporting vulnerable young people who are at-risk or experiencing homelessness. Participating in Walk, Talk and Serve is an ideal for your company to focus your community efforts locally.
Learn about homelessness in Brisbane and contribute to the well-being of those experiencing homelessness and other forms of disadvantage in our community.
The activity will include a talk and tour by BYS staff on the history and work of the organisation, followed by 2hr meal preparation with Dig In staff, and serving of meal at Kemp Place – the key opportunity to support first hand to those experiencing homelessness.

Please note this is a ‘phones down’ event. Due to the sensitivity of working with homeless and vulnerable people, no personal photography will be allowed on the day.
The cost is $100pp +GST.
