About the opportunity:

As a volunteer you can write birthday cards to children and young people who are in out-of-home care.
You can write an inspirational message to young people 17 – 25 years of age. CREATE provides stickers, stencils, textas, crayons and colouring in pencils. It’s a great way to tap into your creative side and relive your childhood.
Tea, Coffee and Lollies will be provided throughout the day.

Additional requirements:

Please bring your own lunch.

You will be required to submit to a police check 2 weeks prior to your volunteering
date. You will not need a police check if you are able to provide details of your valid Working With Children Check.

Feel free to bring stickers, stamps, and glitter to decorate the birthday cards. It helps to have energy, enthusiasm, and a sense of fun for a day spent helping to improve the lives of children and young people in care!

Please note: no working with children check needed if on site.
