About the opportunity

Help out in a “Garden Blitz” for elderly or infirm clients.

No power tools are used, just a lot of pruning, weeding, mulching and general mucking in!

The idea is to bring a garden back to a level that the client can use safely.

Morning tea is provided as well as an opportunity to chat with the clients, allowing volunteers a personal connection to witness the wonderful impact they have had.

Additional requirements:

Police checks and volunteering paperwork are required to be completed by all volunteers.

Volunteers are asked to wear gardening clothes, a hat and sunscreen.
