Asylum Seeker Resource Centre – Garden, cook or help the ones in need with groceries

About the opportunities

Community Food Day

Help the ASRC provide free groceries and a delicious meal to people seeking asylum who would otherwise go hungry. The Foodbank volunteers handle everything from donations, to sorting food, to helping members make the best choices while shopping. Volunteers also prepare a glorious selection of curies, salads and desserts for over 200 people to enjoy together.

A delicious, nutritious lunch is provided as part of your day volunteering with us!

The cost is $84pp + GST.

Additional requirements:

Participants should wear casual clothes and closed, flat shoes, as you will be standing and working with food. Hair tied back.
